Tilt Rods

Our customers’ favorite tilt rod option is our traditional front mount tilt rod. This tilt rod style is the one typically associated with plantation shutters, and contributes to their elegance. Since the tilt rod hangs on the front of the shutters, it’s easy to open your shutter louvers to let light in and close them completely for more privacy. 

We also offer our rear-mounted tilt rod, which is a functional way to have the feel of a hidden tilt rod without the expense of an internally mounted gear mechanism. Using a thin metal strip on the back corner of each louver, the tilt rod orchestrates the movement of your plantation shutters.
